Summer Fair!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Please come to our summer fair tomorrow. There will be loads of exciting events. I'm going to on the Hoopla stand! Children are encouraged to dress up in fancy dress as fictional book characters, I think I'm going to come as a pirate! Hope to see you there!!!

ROYAL NATIONAL BALLET

Yesterday, the children we really lucky. The Royal National Ballet ran a workshop with the children teaching them the basics of ballet. Over the next 5 weeks the children are going to choreograph a dance to go with George Gershwin's 'Summertime'. They will even design and make the backdrop to the stage, the props and even their own costumes. Here are some of the children's thoughts about yetserday.

" It was a really exciting morning." Blerta.

"I was amazed, I loved doing ballet." Kareem.
" It was astonishing to see how pointy their toes were!" Bouchaib.

" I felt fantastic doing ballet!" Alaa.

" It was so exciting I never thought I'd get the oppurtunity to learn ballet!" Rea.






" My toes ached at the end, but it was definitely worth it! " Ava.

" I loved it!" Hamudi.

" It was fantastic doing the turns." The boys.
